Of all the seasons I HATE summer---heat, humidity, high electric bills, bugs, etc etc etc....So for me and a lot of others here we can't wait for it to be over and we have maybe a month and a half before it cools down....
Even though we don't have actual 4 seasons in Texas I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cooler weather and our "winters" (which is more like fall in other places)....And I do like the spring with the beautiful wild flowers everywhere....But you can have summer....🌞 😣
I did put out my fall decor this week to help encourage me that there's cooler weather around the corner.....besides it fits in with another favorite season of mine.....FOOTBALL SEASON.... 🏈 😀

Yes, exactly what I would say.

@Spurt I am in Texas also. In West Texas, we have miserable summers. Hot, hot, hot!!!! We have low humidity but it feels like a furnace blast June through August. This month has been the worst and I dread my electric bill. The air conditioner never gets a chance to cycle off. We are finally get cooler mornings and nights this week. It will remain hot through September. I am grateful for the mild winters. It gets cold but we rarely have snow. If it does snow, it's gone within a day or two. I am waiting for October.

Hi ladies. Thanks for all of your responses. Today is definitely a fallish day. Nice and dry. I do love fall (probably my favorite season) but just not quite ready to let summer go. I especially love the evenings sitting on my deck with neighbors. Days are getting shorter. I will not miss watering my flowers... what a project that was this year. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy fall season!!

Hey fellow Texan, we've visited the Big Bend area in Werst Texas, and it does get unbearably hot there....although the humidity is low where you are, instead of a sauna like South Texas, it's more like an OVEN!!! Yep, looking forward to cooler days along with you! Hang in there!

Love fall. Hung autumnal wreath on front door, decorated living and dining rooms, and picked up a fall bouquet at farmer's market yesterday for kitchen. House looks so nice and comfy. Will soon be using my fall flameless candles in the evening and turning on the fireplace. Could never imagine living anywhere that doesn't have four seasons, but fall is the best!
