I started last week.  Fall is my favorite time of the year and I look forward to cooler weather and the change of season.  Decorating makes me happy and it is definitely Fall in my home!!!!!!

For me, the long Labor Day weekend is a great time to deep clean, put away summer decor and bring out autumn decor.  Mostly, I change out throw pillow covers and add a few pumpkins and candles.  I would love to wait until cooler weather arrives, but that's not until November for us and I want to enjoy the changed decor for longer than that,

I used to display more seasonal decor, but I sold or gave away most of it when I downsized to a much smaller house last year.

Re: Fall Decorating

Mine has been done for a week inside and I did the doors and flags outside last evening. Artificial pumpkin by the front door after rain tonight. The house is far away from  the street so they appear real. Not heavy and no mess!

I started mine but just a little bit so as not to overwhelm myself.

Whenever the weather (and the spirit) moves me! LOL!! When the temps drop and the summer flowers fade I usually start the process, starting with the patio and deck. I'll have the cleaning gals do a heavier than normal cleaning and I will start changing our the window treatments, quilts, etc. . . I'm usually in full fall mode by mid October.

I did my Fall Cleaning over the past two weekends and now I have the last little bit to do. Labor Day is my official get ready to nest for a few months cue.

Actually bought some Fall clothes while out and about today and put out some Halloween items to enjoy over the Harvest season.

I started my fall/Halloween decorating about two weeks ago.  I love that time of year.   I'm just getting started with my decorating.Woman Happy

@Mom2Dogs , me too. Tired of hot, humid weather.   Ready for cool weather and long long walks.

I do it over time.

I changed out the front door decor late this past week,

I changed the comforter of the bed today.

I will do other things as it gets closer to Halloween and then Thanksgiving.

I tend to be an early decorator for most seasons. My inside has been decorated for about ten days.

Outside, I did the best that I could to weed, and I put out fall decorations as well as memorial stepping stones for my mother and dad and a solar angel in a small section at the edge of my garden. (My mom died at the end of last year.)
