I just paid my QCard bill and noticed the insert that tells us that within 60 days, if we want a printed bill sent to us, Synchrony bank is going to charge $1.99 a month. The enclosed flyer was titled "No paper. No fee." Well, I expect a bill to be sent to me and don’t expect to pay for the delivery of that bill. With this notification, it means to me that I will be getting rid of my QCard. I’d like to hear what others think of this.

I don't have a Q card but I have an HSN card. I recently got the same notice. I went into my account & switched to email bill delivery. I already avoid paying interest by paying my balance off when billed.
I will no longer be using my HSN card. I like getting paper statements, even though I have switched to online bill pay.I will use my Visa or Discover card as paper statements are free.

it has been discussed here ad nauseum over the past few months. if you do a search, you will find a lot of comments. this is NOTHING new and many other banks and stores have been doing this already with their in house credit cards. it is easy to switch over to paperless and print out your bill from the online site. if you dont want to do that, then your options are to pay the paper bill fee, or not use your QCARD, or cancel it.

I received the same notifications from both HSN and QVC. I had no intention of paying $1.99 to either of them to receive a printed bill, so I switched to online billing for both of them. It's probably better for me as I tend to drown myself in paper.

As long as I have other options I will choose what's best for me. I get ALL my bills and payment due notifications via email. And it's FREEEEEE. After what we have all been through businesses are trying to recover too. Every penny counts. 2024 WILL BRING BETTER TIMES.

@KarenK. There's already been a lot of discussion on this issue. You can search for them above under "search forums and blogs".

jc penney started that too. Synchrony bank is eating up all the credit cards.
Dillards will be taken over. CitiBank in Sept. will be the new Dillards card holder. You can still pay in the store though.

Paperless billing is the way to go with all bills. Less to shred, less trash all around. One can always print the statement out if so desired. I know, I know...not everyone has a printer. 🤷🏻♀️

@KarenK - What do you do with all the paper statements? Why not switch to paperless and not have to accumulate all the paper? Try it - you may just love it.
You can always print the statement, but why would you need to? Are you writing a check to pay the bill?
