@Desertdi,  I imagine all body hair but it wouldn't be concentrated around the mouth and/or nose like facial hair is.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

It's common sense that beards and moustaches are germ havens -- especially given the moisture from the breath.  And the nose and mouth are right there to inhale the germs (and exhale other germs).  Yuck.

i saw on one of the news shows last week, they were talking about shaving facial hair. yes, it harbors germs etc. around mouth and nose.

@Marp, Yes, I guess since we know beards do collect other viruses and bacteria, it would stand to reason that would be the case.
