I find it ironic that negative and mean posts are not allowed here.  But when you look at the hosts' FB pages, there are all sorts of horrible things said about them.  People are using their real names on FB too

(I do not think that negative and mean  things said about hosts should be allowed here - in case someone misunderstands my post)

A lot of the negative gets deleted from hosts' FB pages.  It might take a little bit but eventually it ends up gone.

I also saw a former host go on a small rant one day about giving someone a timeout for their rude behavior and rude comments on her page.

Oh good grief!  facebook is just like everything else, it has it's good and bad.  facebook continually outs forth new instruments to use to protect privacy and news feed.

I have a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide spectrum of page "likes."  I "like" museums from all over the world, news sources, HONY, vendors, authors, singers, etc.

I DO NOT follow QVC or their hosts, nor any other shopping board hosts.

How did jealousy enter the picture?  Scratching my head over that one.

It's the "any woman who says anything I don't like about a woman *I* like MUST be JEALOUS" - but say anything you want to about someone I don't like or care about - the "rule" doesn't apply then of course - Thing.

Don't trash those they love, but they'll join in the trashing of those they don't like lickery-split. THAT, of course, is DIFFERENT. Yeah. Uh-huh. Surez.

I would never, and have never, posted anything to the FB page of anyone that is derogatory of/to them. First of all why bother - it will be removed. That's not a host or celebrity thing, that's a My FB Page is Mine thing - people get to choose what they want and don't want on it. I have deleted the odd political comment on my FB page, or someone who felt the need to chastise me for a POV.

A public *discussion* forum is not the same as a personal FB page. People are going to say things about people that others dislike them saying. They need to get over that. I don't call people ugly, fat, stupid, etc.

Just because you don't adore someone doesn't mean you don't have an opinion about what they are or aren't doing, and a right to express that opinion. Business practices, marketing choices, expertise (or lack of) in merchandising. Wise choices, foolish choices. Opinion of merchandise being sold as to quality and desirability.

All of this is discussed every day across all QVC forums. How is the Wen forum or discussions of Tara McConnell or Shawn or Kerstin or all the picking apart of vendors that goes in here ALL DAY LONG different from people who question some of Lisa's choices - choices that are BROUGHT HERE by her fans, not dredged up and sought out by muck-rakers.

Lisa is not King's-X. She does not have special status. People are going to say things about her others dislike, the same way they do the same thing about many other product lines, hosts and vendors here every day, every hour. If the moderators feel something is delete-able they will delete it, but much of the Lisa discussion is NOT delete-able, and saying "I don't like it and you shouldn't say it" will not make it so.

What movie posts? You mean videos?

I've never heard anything about not clicking on videos before.

What do you mean movie posts? I am trying to think of what those are but am drawing a blank.

I am not friends nor have I liked any of the QVC hosts pages but I have gone on to a few and read the comments. There are some really strange people out there. You have those that are obsessed with the hosts and really cross the line asking crazy personal questions and then you have those that do not like the hosts and leave nasty and immature posts.  I don't understand why anyone would take the time to friend or "like" a persons FB page when they do not like them. When you dislike someone, yet make a concerted effort to keep up with their lives (following them on social media) you look like a jealous and envious little hater. It is just so stupid.

@Irshgrl31201, some of them begin like this," I finally found the link to Superman vs. Batman.

I've never seen anything like that before.

Don't click on links from sources you aren't familiar with is always good advice. And just because your friend posts something doesn't mean it's safe, so use your best judgment. I know some people who don't know how to check their sources and post a lot of misinformation. One of my friends who is really good about not posting things like that just posted a link to a scam last weekend. I was looking into it because I thought it sounded fishy when she deleted the post and added a link to a news article about the scam, so I know she figured it out before I could tell her.

I've never seen them either.

The things I find annoying on FB, are those dumb memes that say things like "If you scroll on by without liking and sharing this, you're heartless!"  Or the person who airs their dirty laundry for everyone to see - I don't need to know that you had a fight with your ex and he called you X and you called him Y and blah blah blah.

Believe it or not, a lot goes on in these forums, and has for years, outside of this one current thread. Opinions abound about Lisa, other hosts and vendors, and merchandise, and have since the forum's inception.

Clearly I was speaking forum-globally; to narrow the interpretation down to specific words and phrases not being used in *this* thread is to have not read my post, or to have read it without comprehension.

If you don't like what I'm saying, or you disagree and can elucidate why, feel free. Tunnelvision semantic nit-picking isn't worth any more of my time, frankly.
