When an email says Facebook owes you money, the advice is the same - Don't trust the email. Verify it yourself.

 

Even if an email appears legitimate, don't use its links.

Instead, open your browser and type the official settlement website address yourself.

If the payment is only $5-$7 it isn't worth it to click on it and it could be a scam.
