As this thread is about Pope Francis in NYC, even though my post has nothing to do with this morning, I decided to post on it.

We were at Madison Square Garden.  It was the most joyful and moving experience I've ever had.

Why is he called 'Your Holiness' ?

Because he is the supreme leader of the Catholic Church.

Muttmom, how wonder full that you got to go and be part of the Pope's visit. I bet you were thrilled and excited to part of this event. I hope and pray that you will always have the best memories of what you got to be part of. It was probably tough to get through all the people but I am sure it was the most worth it for all you got to experience . Thanks for posting.

Thank you so much for posting this.  Even though I am not Catholic, I have been in tears everytime I see the Pope as I feel he cares about everyone, even me.

It's a good thing I wasn't there as they probably would have had to duct tape me to a chair to keep me there as I would just love to give him a hug and tell him how much he means to me.

And yes I will pray for him every day as he has asked . . . thanks again so much for sharing this with us.  What an incredible moment/event that must have been for you, congratulations on having that memory forever!  Heart
