Francis seems to have arrived at a time in history when we needed someone to deliver hope, humility and kindness. His message isn't political but one that should resonate with everyone, no matter what religion you are or if you are atheist ....be kind to each other, help others less fortunate....respect life and care for our earth...a simple man with a simple message

Jesus is the only one that can give us hope and His teachings include humility, kindness and love toward others. This is not the Pope's message but rather Jesus. The Pope is just relating it. He is not the one worthy to be worshiped. Jesus is. Yes I did not hear the pope giving God the glory.

The Pope does not live in poverty and there is no reason why he should. We are not the ones to make sacrifices. Jesus made the sacrifice for us so that we no longer have to live in poverty. If we know God's Word and learn God's principles of giving we can rise out of poverty . Not by a speech read by a pope.

Pope Francis is at multi-denominational prayer service at ground Zero this morning. It is so touching. My husband and I are crying as we watch this on tv. Once again, proves the haters never win in the end. May God bless us all, and may God bless America.

My heart goes out to him. Two more full days to go, he must be exhausted. He's 78, soon to be 79, has sciatica and respiratory problems. Being nearly the same age, I'm at the point where I'm hoping he's going to make it through the rest of this trip. I'll be happy to see him go home.

Pam, the muli- denominational service at ground Zero has been so inspiring to watch and listen to. Tears are flowing here also what a wonderful world we could have . I wish my son had been home to watch this with me he watched the mass with me the other day and I was surprised what a effect it had on him.
