Grocery shopping is something I try to do as little of as possible.   I rarely shop more than once a month, and make each trip count.   By Christmas, my house is stocked so well, I totally avoid the grocery store during flu season.

We love Walmart Pick up as well.  Had knee surgery a couple of months back and Walmart pick up has been a HUGE help.

    I have used Target food delivery and have been happy with the service.  Have also used Walmart food delivery, but liked Target's better.

I can go to the grocery store almost every day.

I LOVE grocery shopping!  I enjoy going up and down the aisles checking out the new stuff and the endcap displays.  I especially enjoy it this time of  year with all the Fall produce, goodies and floral items.  My absolute favorite grocery store is Wegmans.  They are the best this time of year.  There aren't any close to me so it's about a 45 minute drive, but I don't mind at all.  If they let me live there, I would! That store has it all and the best quallity.

 When my SIL worked, she stopped at a grocery store every single day and bought something to cook for supper.   She just never seemed to remember to take food from the freezer to thaw, except on weekends.   

My brother was well aware she stopped every day, but never gave much thought to what it was costing, since he enjoyed a cooked meal every night.   

At some point my brother actually took notice of these daily expenditures, and said looking at the weekly total wasn’t bad.   The monthly total made him shake his head at that much food expense for 2 adults.   The yearly total was what set him off!

They are both retired now, and have made big changes to their grocery shopping habits.

I don't mind grocery shopping at all, especially when the weather is ok.

The store (Publix) I go to is really close by so while I do our main shopping once a week, it's normal for me to stop in there several times a week.

I'm not a big cook and we routinely get things from their deli like rotisserie chicken and vegetable sides or chicken tenders, salad bar, etc.  Those type things require that I go get them when we're ready for them.

I hate winter with a passion, even here in the South.  So I stock up more for the rainy, cold months.

I go every Sunday morning as soon as the sun comes up, sometimes earlier. All the shelves are usually full and I'm usually the only person checking out. Takes me about 15 minutes to get in and out. I just do it like clockwork every week...has to be done and no one's gonna' do for me.

I go once a month.  I don,t run out of anything.  I don,t use milk.  I use Almond milk, so that last.  I get frozen veggies.  In the beginning, I get fresh and put in Debbie Meyers boxes of bags.  

I shop for a month at TJ.   Then I let everything in freezer or drug run out before I shop again.  Hate shopping.  Sometime I can go two months.  I live alone.  I keep desserts in freezer for company and tea, coffee or a bottle of Italian soda in frig, ice cream.  I also sometime buy two of what I need,.  Some time in that month, my friend and I  might visit the farmers market, then i,'ll pick up veg., and more fruit.

When I had a family to cook for, then I shopped once a week..  Hated it.  I also used to pile things in the freezer without using what,s already in there up.  We each have our own methods.
