Ironic isn't it.   The bridge was built to protect pedestrians (students), who had to cross that eight-lane highway.  Instead, the bridge killed motorists.

Same firm was involved in the construction of the Zakim bridge in Massachusettts.  Time for an alternate route untill it's re-inspected.
