It's May 31. If they're discontinuing the policy, why is the "90-Day Extended Returns & Free Exchanges" banner still running on their home page? Why haven't they updated the text of their extended return policy, including an end date if one exists, if they're discontinuing it?

I'm thinking that salespeople should stick to sales, and that Mary Beth was either misinformed or jumped the gun. Or else QVC or Mary Beth is floating a fake end date as an incentive to drive up sales before the 90-day return period ends. Tacky and unethical, but hey, why not try it?

QVC needs to send all of its customers an email when the end is properly announced, as well as post the end of the special period prominently on its home page and CS pages.

BTW, HSN still has its banner and the same info on its CS page. No change.

I had wondered all that myself because it was the first I'd heard and it came out of the blue.  But she kept repeating it and no one corrected her (although that has often happened in the past).

Since she was selling WEN, the spiel was if that you bought it during the last two days of May, you had the opportunity to try it for 90 days.  But if you waited until June, you would only have 30 days to try.  Mary Beth doesn't seem like the type that would willingly say something like that knowing it wasn't true, at least to me.

Maybe they'll decide to keep the 90 day return policy for June and then start "Christmas In July" with its extended return policy so we don't notice the change so much.  😉

Who knows?  Some of the other hosts may have mentioned something, but I rarely watch anymore.  It was just a fluke I was watching that particular show.

ETA:  You can check it out yourself, if you'd like.  On Mary Beth's Facebook page (Mary Beth Roe QVC) the video that says "Josie Maran" done yesterday at 12:59 pm.  It starts with her ending the WEN show and after a short bit she again says that you only have two more days for the extended returns, starting in June it returns to normal.

Anyone that doesn't belong to Facebook can search for this ("Facebook Mary Beth Roe QVC") to view the video if you'd like.  You don't need to be a member for these public posts.

You've given me something to look forward to. I think. But that's a solid suggestion and I will do that, check both the Q and HSN.

FYI:  Not to beat a dead horse here, but they're now showing "30 day returns" on the screen graphics on several products this morning.

What's your return policy?

QVC wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not satisfied for any reason, our return policy allows you to send back returns-eligible merchandise within 30 days of the date you received the package for a refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping & handling and Q Return Label fee. If an item is returned due to defect, QVC was in error, or request for exchange/replacement, QVC will refund the shipping & handling and will not deduct the Q Return Label fee. Purchases from QVC and the use of QVC services are subject to our General Terms & Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy, which can be found at the bottom of the QVC.com homepage. For more information, call Customer Service at 888-345-5788.

QVC® Extended Return Policy

As we navigated the early stages of the COVID-19 situation together, we extended our 30-day return policy to 90 days for orders placed February 1 - May 31, 2020. Our standard 30-day return policy is effective June 1, 2020.

Good that it is clear and in writing now. I saw it under an item I was looking at.

Re: Extended Return Policy is Ending...

I probably shouldn't say anything since I have outstanding orders but knock on wood, I have had no issues at all with my items getting to me in a timely manner.

I ordered 2 items on May 16th, they were shipped the 18th and on my doorstep on the 20th.

I ordered 2 items on the 29th and they were shipped the 31st and I ordered an item on the 30th and it shipped today.

I don't buy nearly as much here as I used to, but I haven't had any problems either.

Re: Extended Return Policy is Ending...

I understand what she means about ******. I have ordered some clothes to replace some worn out items. The size chart for the specific items were not correct & some the material was terrible. Not what I was expecting. So mine went back! Lesson learned. I can't count on anything being the quality of a few years ago. For most items I have been sastified & others were ******. My biggest problem was sizing being different in the exact same size & color. I know it happens.

Re: Extended Return Policy is Ending...

I'm afraid the people handling returns were never informed. I took advantage of it & all of my returns were never used, washed etc. It ended up being a big hassle for me. I was trying to exchange several items & they were available when I had USPS pick them up. But of course not by the time they got processed. I am very disappointed in the way this was handled. It should have been just as easy as their Christmas policy. I think they shot themself in the foot on this one. I will never trust it again!
