Scam.  Anything legit would come to you in the U.S. Mail and would not give you a short time limit or threathen you.

Definitely ignore and you can send to scam folder.

If you are ever in doubt about an email, call the number on your card (or bank) and ask them. They will tell you right away if its legit or not.

@Jordan2 @It is definitely a scam. I posted about this here before. I forwarded this to Chase. They have a report Pfishing email. I took a screenshot and then deleted the email.

If u don't have accounts with Chase --- why are u NOT suspicious??? I have an acct with Chase - and I would immediately delete this type of email.Banks DO NOT email u forurr information.

@kivah As I said previously, although I don't have accounts at the bank, I do have credit cards that were issued by Chase, I thought the email could have been referring to them

Ignore.  I'm with Chase too (just credit cards)

Ignore.  Scam.   You can report it.  It you run your cursor over their address and see what comes up.  Bet it is not an address you will recognize or even associated with them. Just don't  open it.  Or if you do open don't answer.

I got an email today from Capital One, it stated my card was expiring soon, they wanted me to update my mailing address. Being suspicious as I am, I called them (the number on my card) to find out if they indeed sent the email. Well they did send the email, I was able to confirm my address on the phone. I am glad the email was on the up and up, I just didn't want to take a chance it was a scam.

That's actually not true.  I have credit cards with Chase, and I get legitimate emails from them.  Other companies also send emails rather than actual mail.
