Jacob's family held a press conference tonight. GMH has a great children's wing. When I had my appendectomy last November, I walked around the hospital and was amazed at the upgrades they used done. The staff were all nice and attentive. I imagine it's even more so in the children's wing.

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Jacob Hall, the 6-year-old victim of a shooting at Townville Elementary School, has died at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Hall died just before 1pm Saturday afternoon, according to the Anderson County Coroner.

We are heartsick to learn about the death of six year old Jacob Hall, one of three shot, including his classmate and their teacher, at Townville Elementary School in South Carolina on September 28th. Jacob was a happy boy, who loved to go to church and school. He was shot on his way out to the school playground.

We know firsthand the anguish his friends, family, teachers and classmates are facing. This didn’t have to happen, it should not have happened, and we are deeply saddened to add Townville, and any town, to the growing list of American communities forever touched by gun violence.

Mark, Nicole, and the entire Sandy Hook Promise team send all of our love to the Hall family and the Townville community during this extremely difficult time.

I read that he died, just horrible ,thoughts with family.

When the local coroner released this news today,it just broke my heart.Prayers continue for all those in my county,the little town and especially his family.

The last picture our local news released of him today brought tears.It showed him smiling real big with his hand in the air like he was waving good-bye.

God has a new angel today.
