I think that the increasing amount of people eating out contributes to the very sad obesity epidemic in this country, especially among kids. Smiley Sad

It's not eating out, it's what you eat at any time. We've dramatically increased our consumption of carbohydrates, and we also started moving less and less. Combine the two, and it's a disaster.

How nice... great for our men and women in the services!! I may ""borrow"" that method of appreciating them!! I always ""thank"" a service person when I see them in uniform.

Add to that, people complain how awful the food is at Olive Garden. Yet, every lunch and dinner the parking lot is packed.

I was just talking with a friend about that...every restaurant parking lot is full of cars and the eateries have a waiting line. Also discussed, all the mall parking lots are filled...it's not Christmas, Mother's Day, Easter or the start of school!!! What are all those people doing???

PS - the only thing I ever eat at Olive G is the "soup and salad" combo!! Tasty and filling!!
