I had a couple of easy pays in progress when my bank issued me a new credit card because of the Target thing. I called Customer Service as soon as I got the new number and they could not be nicer and edited the information for me immediately. No problem!

It's no big deal, I just called and updated the information. They can't legally put payments on another credit card without your authorization so get down off your high horse. On 4/17/2014 KYToby said:So, you made an assumption that (that a transaction on the new card would automatically switch your easy pays over) and were wrong? QVC alerts you to the problem, and somehow you are aghast and refuse to do future business with QVC. Way to be responsible!
I am a responsible consumer and don't appreciate your comment.Everyone has a right to choose who they want to do business with depending on how they are treated as a customer.

I have more than one card on my account, I place orders sometimes for my Dad (I'm a signer on his account). I would be very upset if they decided which card to put them on.

No you aren't. If you were, you would have updated your account. Instead, you blame QVC and threaten to stop doing business with them.

This is not Q's fault it is yours! You bought something using a particular card number..it isn't up to them to compare data bases and update your account..You need to do that.
With the amount of customers and cards.
Also, some people use different cards for different easy pays..so how would they automatically assume anything?
Nope this one is on you.

Why can't people accept responsibility and move on...

Exactly. All they know is that the card was refused. Simply call them and fix it. Sheesh.

When was the old QVC? I can tell you all that at least since 2003, if you didn't inform QVC of address and card changes on AD and EZPay order for EACH ONE of them, you had a problem!
What lots of people think is a difference between the old Q and the new Q is just how the business has always been working, but I just never realized how things work until I had a problem.
Now, 12 years into switching addresses twice every year, I have lots of businesses on my list of ones that need individual attention when I move for the season. Only a very few do it all automatically.
