You know how you can get a song stuck in your head, and it plays on a loop until it drives you crazy?

Well, I have an earworm, and I can't get the song out of my head.

The song  that is is stuck is, "Woman in Love", by Barbra Streisand.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the song, but not when the same part plays over and over again.

What do I do?

(That's part of the lyrics to the song, btw)

So, what songs have been stuck in your head?

Goes back a few years, but do you remember that song "Hey Macarena"?  Then there's most songs by Train.

@Anonymous032819  1-877 CARS FOR KIDS - Arrrrgh!! I hate that ditty so much, I turn it off as soon as it comes on. But by then it's too late!Smiley Mad The sad thing is it's so close to the tune of a song we used to sing in Sunday School, which I liked very much.

Oh, I hate that song too. I listen to a lot of sports shows, and that song comes up all the time.

@Anonymous032819  "Something in the Air" by Thunderclap Newman.  Heard it the other day and it's been haunting me ever since.

I have never had a song stuck in my head, but once many years ago, a neighbor who had a patio garden on their roof put on a record player...remember those?  There was one record that played over and over and over again all day long for hours and loud.

The neighbors were not home to turn it off.  Finally another neighbor got a ladder and climbed up and shut everything down..thank goodness.

The song was Elvira by the Oak Ridge Boys.  I hate that song now.

OMG I HATE when that happens.  Often I can not sleep because of it.  When those High School Musical movies came out it was the worst for me!  My DH kept wanting to watch them over and over and I finally told him to stop it or I would just go in another room.  Any movie musical will do that to me.  I don't know how to get those songs out of my head.  Hope someone else has a clue.

DH kept singing 'She's Not There' by the Zombies today because he went to find me in one room and I was actually in another.

I responded, "Well maybe the lady's not that into him. If he can't find her, dude needs to take a hint!" He laughed. And kept singing it.

@Carmie .

I've always hated that song on just run through.  Can't imagine it on a non stop repeat cycle for hours on end.  Ugh!

The former and current and still "MrsSweetieBear".

This happens to me often. Especially when I listen to my favorite music by Queen. Whenever I listen to Bohemian Rhapsody ...and Freddie belts out "MAMA!" I have that song and  Freddie in my head. Here is the song on utube

Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on
As if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooh
I don't want to die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
