So will the lights be off for 24 hours on earth day?

 

No...that would be too inconvenient.

 

I wonder how many who turned off their lights also turned off anything else electric.  This is about energy after all...not just brightness, or the lack of it.

We turned off everything electric except for the fridge.  Time flew by.  The last twenty minutes or so, we started playing: "Would you rather?" to kill time. The dog looked at me as if to say: "No TV?"
