Is anyone else watching the BB Eagle Cam?

I'm checking things out about every half hour  I noticed the snow had melted so I checked BB weather ...  and it was 51 degrees today and about the same tomorrow.

A minute ago both parents were busily feeding the babies who seem to already have big appetites.

I don't speak Eagle, but it seemed to me that Jackie told Shadow to go get another fish .... STAT!  Woman LOL

I have a funny story, my friend has two parrots an African gray, and a bright green one, I forgot his type. Anyway, she  had been glued to the cam for a while and when the eagles made loud noises ....the African gray who was outside his cage playing.....when he heard the Eagles sounds, he ran fast back into his cage and closed the door.  lol. She said he was scared , and then she muted sound.  But I guess even in captivity birds sense danger!!!

What I didn't realize until yesterday is that Shadow always feeds #1 and #2 first since they are more aggressive eaters.

If he fed #3 first the other two would try to grab it right out of his mouth.

When #1 and #2 have had many piecces, he feeds #3 who I don't believe has the same appetite yet.

After Shadow had fed the kids, about 15 minutes later Jackie came back and gave each of them a little more fish.

Ah, the trials and tribulations of parenthood ..........

@Tinkrbl44 - I have noticed that on the news cam and wondered why Shadow/Jackie seem to feed more to the one or 2nd baby, now I know, thanks for the tidbit, lol.

@SoCal Bred

I'd noticed too, and hoped they weren't "neglecting" #3.

@Tinkrbl44  I did not notice #3 yolk sac yesterday.  Perhaps it will get more aggressive come feeding time.

I just found out eaglet chicks can hardly see.  The only thing they see well is their parents yellow/orange beaks which they know has food.

Today Jackie & Shadow (Jackie more so than Shadow) have been reinforcing the inner nesting area now that most of the snow melted.  And, both have been cleaning up the pantry.

The black birds they have killed both are using their feathers to add to the inner nesting area.

Last night something kept flying nearing Jackie.  She was setting off alarms between 11p-12a EST.  I know there is an owl housing near their home.  I wonder if the owl was trying to get near the chicks?  I'm gonna check the "recaps" to find out what was going on.

Found out a neighboring San Bernardino Flying Squirrel kept visiting the nest last night which was upsetting Jackie.
