I get everything and more I need or want to watch on YouTubeTV, at a considerable savings over my previous satellite service.  There is a ton of content on demand if you can't find something live to watch.

I also subscribed to Peacock just to watch On Patrol Live.  After several good months, they stopped streaming it live which is deceptive.   There's nothing else there I care to watch so will be canceling it.

@Kachina624i came back to this post to let you know that OPLive is live on Peacock. I subscribed to their cheapest $6.99 version last week.

There are two ways to watch.

If you choose it by "TV shows"  yes, youll see the recorded library of previous shows.

If you choose it by Channel and choose Reelz you are viewing the Reelz channel as it broadcasts. If the show isnt on live like during Presidents Day weekend like last weekend it wont be live to anyone but regular repeat like any other viewer with cable will see repeat too when Dan Abrams and the boys take the weekend off on holiday weekends.

I hope this helps.

Im loving my YouTube and Peacock subscriptions that i got on 2/17. I like OPLive on Reelz on Friday and Saturday and have it on while i play on my tablet. Car chases are my fav.

@LizzieInSRQ.  Thanks for the information but I don't get Reelz which is why I subscribed to Peacock with the understanding it was live.  That only lasted 3-4 months and it's all prerecorded.  Reelz is too expensive to stream for just one show.

I'll just watch COPS for free.   I think I like it better anyway.  I've canceled Peacock.

98% of my viewing is YouTube. Lots of variety.  Then movies.  All else...........not much.

With everyday costs as they are and continue to be, a lot of things should be cut here in no time.

@spumoni99    We pay $200.00 for cable, no premium channels, but a lot of channels that we do not watch.  Unfortunately my husband thinks there are a couple we must have so that is why we have not cut the cord...ugh.

I can get along with less chanels. Choice Style Package is one of Spectrum's packges that you pick a certain number (maybe 15 channels not sure) of channels for a reduced price.

If you have spectrum cable it might be worth a call and see what they offer.

We plan to stop cable as well and plan to get YouTube tv.  Get all local channels and all the others that we like to watch.  Best deal for us.

We still have FIOS.  I get all the movies.  I have two streaming. MAX (it's free for me with HBO)  Amazon (ghastly shows, but again it's free.   I wanted Netflix because they continue to have shows you want to see, but with our cable bill, it will be too much.  And with all the movies, FIOS internet is very, very fast.  It's bundled with our land phone.  Our cell phones service is cheap.  So I do pay $250.00 a month.  But that's it.

Our Comcast bill just increased, too. We are strongly considering cutting the cord ourselves. I’m glad I clicked on this thread because there is such a wealth of information. It will be a lot to research and compare pricing, but I’m hoping it will be well worth it. I called Comcast for a discount, but they only offered me a discount if I added their cell phone service which I do not want. It wasn’t a discount on the cable but a discount on the phone service.

Trying to cut the cable cord, but so frustrated... We just got Roku and Hulu.

I don't understand why some shows I want are on the streaming list but when I try to watch, it says "currently unavailable"-   Why? What?   No offer to upgrade subscription-  Can any friends here with knowledge help me understand? Thanks so much!
I've seen this trying to get older seasons of Young Sheldon on Hulu, trying to get (old) Mystery Diagnosis on Amazon Prime-

Hi @Skyegirl21 ,

I have had this happen too when I would try and watch using a Chromebook. It was not compatible with certain streaming platforms, for example.

I guess that I would make sure that everything is compatible and is connected as it should be.

Sometimes the problem could possibly be on the other end, too.

If you can still watch other programming, then it could be that those particular programs that you want to watch are not available at this time.
