I kept this since 1984. I liked the model's look. Forty years later I still like it. You can see the fold from being stored.

Re: 1984 Ad in Ultra Magazine

@On It  Very attractive. I loved my 80s, hair and makeup.

After blow drying, I remember curling with a curling iron, for a half hour. It took a lot of time to look that beautiful.

My dark hair was similar to her's, but I never had that

much hair. I Only wished for it.

@On It  oh yes it's very pretty!In 1984 I was working at

"Elaine Powers Figure Salons for Women" I would've been

all over that makeup and hair look😁

Re: 1984 Ad in Ultra Magazine

@On It    I remember that "look" just like it was yesterday lol.  I think I wore too many fluffy sleeve tops to be nostalgic for it myself, but it is a lovely look.

Is the model in that ad Kelly LeBrock?  She looks very familiar to me for some reason.

I've missed seeing you on the forum for a few days.  Perhaps you were here and our paths just didn't cross lol, either way, it's nice seeing you!😊❤️

@MalibuFox  Where were Elaine Powers Figure Salons?

In the 70s, I worked at Gloria Stevens Salon and Joy Health Spa, both for women.  Those were chains in the Boston area.

@cheriere I have been watching and reading but feeling a little lethargic . I think I made a few posts, but we probably just didn't cross paths. Thank you for noticing my drop in participation.

I do not know who the model is. I liked her makeup. I saw a dress on one of the recent red carpets that had those sleeves. That is why I dug out the photo.

@Enufstuff  West coast, at the height of leg warmers and high cut

body suits annnnd the coveted high top Reeboks😄

A Cali exercise guru Joanie Greggains was brought in and revamped the exercise program to a (gasp) 20 min high

intensity aerobic routine. My favorite thing about her was

this Revlon black eyeshadow she wore, of course with my coloring

it didn't look right, but I sure thought it did at the time😆

@cheriere   It's not Kelly LeBrock, I believe the models name is

Joanne Russell. She has a very Liz Taylor look to me

@On It   This morning my hair needed curling so my old curling iron got it out of my eyes. It looks like the photo! I don't wear that much eye makeup now.
