The video I saw is beyond hard to watch, just so sad.  The storms were brutal in that area last night with 60+ mph winds.  The waves were very bad and you could see the boat really struggling to even move in the water before sinking.  I just can't imagine the horror on that boat.  It makes me sad, so many lives lost.

It seems like there have been several of these duck boat fatalities through the years. Several years ago, one capsized in Hot Springs Arkansas and several were killed then.

When my kids were very small we took them on one of the ones in Branson. At that time there had been no accidents that we knew of.

How sad.  I saw this earlier today.  I did a Duck Boat tour last year in Alaska.  We loved it.

When the Thai Rescue was happening, I discovered a YouTube channel that does -live- commentary....he’s interesting, finds articles, tweets all pertaining to the topic at hand.

Right now, at this writing, he’s doing a LIVE broadcast.

Check it out:

17 people lost their lives yesterday. The boat should of never went on the water because there were severe thunderstorm warnings at that time. There were life jackets on the boat but the people didn't have them on.

@qvcaddition

They did get rid of the one in San Francisco due to safety reasons.
