This is what my father passed of.

It is not easy to watch. He had skin cancer on and off with surgeries for quite a number of years.

My dear precious sister passed from melanoma. She had a rare version.

My breast oncologist told me that melanoma, breast, pancreatic, colon, and lung cancers are associated with the same gene.

The royals seem to be having some health issues this year so far. Hope they all have better health going forward.

On the cover of the National Enquirer this week was a story about Queen Camilla needing a double masectomy.

I have no idea if it's true or not. Haven't seen anybody say anything in here, but, I haven't been over to 'among friends". Haven't seen anything on the news about it either.

Surely, they didn't just make it up !

I like her, I always did.  She certainly knew how to,shake things up, but the charm was... I don't think she knew she was doing it..lol. When I was in England (1986)when Diana was with Charles,  I bought the most fun postcard with her and Diana just cracking up together. It was at the races or something. But you looked at it and it just jolted pure joy out of you. I lost it somewhere in this house after all these years.   Lol. I wish her the best.  I have had cancer, that was 22 years ago here I am. I was lucky.  Hopefully she will be lucky too. It is a battle, and no picnic , but so much can be done today. Do melanoma moles hurt? .  I have an appt with derm in 2 weeks I have a mole that hurts. It is a pink color and seems slightly bigger.  But it is in a spot that get irritated

My mom died of melanoma, but that was back in 2005.  Lately there seem to have been a lot of medical advances in treatment and more people are surviving. Hopefully Sarah's melanoma was caught early.

It's a horrible disease, and not always as easy to detect as you would think.  My mom's mole was skin colored and she only had it removed because her bra strap was rubbing on it.  It was sent to 2 or 3 labs to confirm that this light mole was indeed melanoma. It had already grown very deep into her back - and that's bad in terms of a cure.

@shoekittythe cancerous spot didn't hurt at all.
