No telling how many he helps for free.
You are very sweet and trusting...
But Dr. Phil is in it for Dr. Phil. He would sell snake oil if he could make a profit.

He does give some good, common sense advice. Especially to moms who over-enable their teens, etc. Also, I'm very fond of The Steve Harvey TV Show. He has an abundant amount of common sense. I thoroughly enjoy his show.

I don't watch that show so I can't comment on his calls.
Robin has been abused?
She does not have a degree.
I was replying to the comment in the OP about whether the wife had a degree.
OK, I was a little confused by your answer, but totally agree with you that the best people to give advice are those who have gone through it and understand.
yep !

Degrees don't guarantee that someone is ethical or honest or even that educated.

I think her heart is in the right place. She created an app for abused women to have in their phone. It dials the contact people, selected by the women, letting them know they are leaving and need help immediately.
I believe she said her father drank a lot when she was a child and things were dicey at home. Her foundation is named after her mother.

I agree, nunya. I believe that Robin serves in some capacity with the End the Silence to domestic Violence, so it's not unusual for her to be on stage for these types of shows.
As for the app she created, it certainly can help those in need.
