Lately, I've noticed at the end of some of his shows, he calls Robin up to talk to "abused" women. I know she is an advocate and has a foundation for victims of abuse, but does she even have a degree??? Why is he calling her up so much lately??? It may be just me, but her voice is so grating, I don't know how he can stand it. LOL

Sometimes the best advice for abused women and children are those who've been abused, degreed or not.

I don't watch that show so I can't comment on his calls.

Robin has been abused?

She does not have a degree.

He's nothing but a quack himself - why not invite the wife up too???

She usually is shilling for one of their other products too.

I was replying to the comment in the OP about whether the wife had a degree.

I don't think Dr. Phil is a Quack and he does give some good advice.....Oprah gave him a wonderful deal and I do believe in his heart he wants to help people. No telling how many he helps for free.

OK, I was a little confused by your answer, but totally agree with you that the best people to give advice are those who have gone through it and understand.

You are very sweet and trusting...

But Dr. Phil is in it for Dr. Phil. He would sell snake oil if he could make a profit.
