it's okay, we can disagree. I'm not even saying I like or dislike him, just seeing things from all angles I guess. I personally do not like Dr Oz because he was a successful doctor who sold his soul for fame and money and now spends his time promoting garcinia cambogia and other weight loss kwap. To me he is a real charlatan and can be dangerous to the flocks of people who would go out and buy hundreds of dollars of supplements without taking advice from their own doctor first.

I 100% agree with you about Oz.

True but he didn't have to humiliate the couple in front of everyone. And the guy was actually articulate and respectful. Dr Phil told him verbatim what to say (tell her you're never going to see her again…) then threw him out.

No! He was trying to save their lives. I have heard many advisors emphasize to an addict to completely separate from those who have played such a large part in their addiction. Makes sense and Dr Phil has helped many people whether you like him or not.

He didn't just send the guy away but to people who were waiting to take him for badly needed help.

You may not think highly of his new book but it seems that many, many people apparently do.

I think he decided not to keep up his license because his show breaks EVERY rule in the counseling book!

If he kept his license, he would be subject to disciplinary action, which wouldn't be good for the show.

About a year after the TX state board reprimanded him he left his practice.

I saw a couple of his shows and I saw him hawking his sons publishing company and his wife's new make up line. He is a Moron. I can not believe that people still watch his show? I stopped watching after about the second show I saw.

You're not I do as well. I have enjoyed watching many of his shows.

Include my DH and I watching his show; it's scheduled in our DVR.

He was on an episode of 48 Hours last night. Great show. He announced it earlier in the week on his show. A man strangled his wife and told Dr. Phil a different story than he told the police, just two days apart.
