I have been able to put recent events in perspective and feel calmer after listening to him.  Worth a read for any of us that may be feeling nervous about the recent virus.  I will not post a link but his remarks are very easy to find on several sites on the internet.

I agree. I wish he would run for office in his state.

I know so many of us are scared and I thought it may be helpful to read his remarks, as he is a doctor and not a politician.  I have heard that some wanted him to run for office.

I listen to the scientists. At this point we do not know how dangerous this will be. To me that means those who say we are all doomed have as much credibility as those who say we have nothing to worry about. There is nothing wrong with taking precautions. This is not a political or media issue but a public health issue.

He made some good points. All the people who are stock piling toliet paper and such will have a good supply I guess.

This is knocking other subjects off the TV that we were getting tired of hearing about and not really caring about the exit of Royals, etc.

Sure, it's a Public Heath Issue.  That has been and is being politicized, as are most things.

And it is a Huge Media Event.  The Media loves this type of thing, whether we and they want to admit it.  Cue scary music, put up picture of Giant Corona Virus and go to intro......

I went grocery shopping this AM. and I actually needed toilet paper. There were 2 of the 20 roll packs left, and I snagged one, but I was self conscious, I wanted to yell " but I needed it ." LOL.😂

@QVCkitty1 I feel the same way!  I order my toilet paper from Amazon and it was my normal time for re-order.  I almost felt "guilty"!!!!!!!!!! Smiley Embarassed

on the clip I watched he seemed to talk loud ( I won't saying he was yelling)  about how many people die from the regular flu but he didn't say anything about the shortage of testing kits.

And I don't think he would go to any areas where there are any active cases.
