Nope. Nope.
From the San Antonio Express:
"...A group of Texas hunters found a different kind of game when they discovered a nightmarish scene of nearly 30 slithering rattlesnakes hiding beneath a deer blind.
“Picked my deer blind up to rebuild it and killed 26 rattlesnakes and one that we weren’t sure what it was this morning at the lease,” Rusty Hopper said in Facebook post that is making even the toughest Texans squirm as it has been shared more than 35,000 times.
“Not what I intended,” he replied to a friend. “You can’t imagine the messages and stuff I’ve gotten from random people.”..."

Wow, that would make anyone's heart skip a beat!
Wonder how they managed to kill them all w/o anyone getting bit?
...BTW, the first time I read this I thought it said BLIND DEER & could not figure out why all those snakes were under the blind deer... lol.

That is too funny : D
I don't know how they killed them all before they slithered away. Maybe shot them?

Well, I totally hate snakes! But, just had to look anyhow.... Ha, OK - that would of been a totally insane screaming woman if I would of actually seen that!! Talk about a heart attack!! I live in central Texas - and, between those rattlesnakes and those copperheads... Ewwww and Ewwww again...

OK, so I DO love snakes, at least the non venemous kinds. I have garter snakes in my yard that do so many good things. I did LOL at the "blind deer" comment! ![]()

In March, the rattlesnakes are still in hibernation.
How do I know this tidbit?
Yes, in 1985 this gal went to the Rattlesnake Roundup in Sweetwater, TX! Whoop
The handlers do all sorts of 'tricks' w/ snakes...like placing them in sleeping bags while a handler is in there, coiling a rattlesnake in their hand, etc. Gave me the heebie-jeebies, but they assured the crowd all the handlers were safe.
------
That pic reminds me...on the farm where I grew up, we had an old dog house. We began seeing lots of old, fat bullsnakes (non-poisonous, but scared the cr*p out of ya!). Dad tore down the dog house...it looked like something out of that 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' scene. Those snakes were living the life. Eeps!

Ah so now it makes sense. I couldn't figure out why they were all lying in what seemed like the same spot they were found.
Rattlesnake Roundup eh. That would give me the heebie-jeebies too. Ew.

I don't know why, but snakes don't freak me out.
