Remember Toronto Mayor Tom Ford?

He's not doing too well.  His cancer isn't responding to chemo.

His personality was larger than life.  I'm torn about how I feel about him.  Part of me wants him to recover and the other part of me doesn't feel so charitable.

What do you think?

I hope he finds peace. I wish him no harm and a peaceful passing when and if his time comes.

Being a cancer survivor, I don't like to hear about people whose treatment isn't working.  My BFF passed away two years ago when her treatment stopped working.  I hope he (or anyone else) recovers.

Thanks, Missy!  You're right, it was ROB Ford NOT Tom Ford.  Sorry about that.

I always wish the best for people in cancer treatment, but you never know when their time is, only God knows that.

The only people I hope don't survive something like that would be vicious murderers and pedophiles.

He had an alcohol and crack problem and mostly hurt himself. I don't wish someone like that death or suffering.

Terrible.  Strange...I was just thinking about him just before I found these postings. Addiction is a horrible thing.

He's been moved to palliative care because he hasn't responded to treatment.  A shame - he's a fairly young  man.
