Re: Don't complain if you open this...MASK POST

Wow!  I am shocked just for their own health.

I have to admit I am "one of those" who doesn't really wear a mask in the grocery store for the one time I am out but if I was working where I knew sick people were, I would.  Not for me but for my family.

Surprising the facility doesn't demand it of the cleaning service if they are contracted.  I would think OSHA would not approve either.  I'll bet a lawyer can make that a hazardous work environment in about two seconds if a janitor gets sick.

I'm shocked for your health Laura14. Not wearing a mask in a grocery store is high risk. Not wearing one in a building that has emptied out of people for the day - low risk.

We only went to mandatory this past Fri.  Other than the hair dressers twice I have only worn a mask in a store for the first time on Saturday the 4th and again Sunday morning at Walmart.  I do not shop much so I will start but ripping it off as soon as I walk out the exit.

Everyone should wear a mask

@ahoymate   If the virus can live on surfaces, I wouldn't think low risk and it sounds like they are there during operating hours.

I actually am fairly certain I already had it back in late March before you could test for it.  That's my one and only reason for being cavalier.  I honestly do have my mask on me and have worn it from time to time when most everyone else has one on just not to scare them.

Go ahead and flog but that's my pitiful excuse.

I've been wondering............whether the folks who are making the masks are wearing masks.  ?  And gloves.

I have been washing gifted home-made masks.  Well, actually, I aired them out first for a week, in the sunshine outdoors.

Then I washed them.

I'm not flogging. It's just that the whole country is in peril now because of this virus. I suspect I had it earlier as well, but COVID19 can come back. I'm very cautious & so is my state.

The 3 C's for this virus:

  1. Confinement
  2. Close contact
  3. Crowded places.

They should have had masks on.  Not for OSHA, but for COVID19.

Not much to do but report it and hope the situation is rectified.

@Laura14 You can order a home test kit.
