Re: Don't Forget to Set Clocks FORWARD One Hour Tonight

Just finished most of ours. Several watches, clocks and my car clock.  For my car, it takes all of my concentration to do it. They made it harder than it has to be.

I still have to do my mom's grandmother clock. I'm not quite sure how to do that one because you're not supposed to move the time forward. I think in a few hours I'll stop the pendulum and then in the morning start it back up at the right time.

My phone and clock radio will set themselves tonight at the time change.

Such excitement on a Saturday evening.

I just set mine.  I have to set my bedside table clock, oven clock and microwave clock as well as my watch.  My car clock sets itself.

Thanks for the reminder, @Plaid Pants2Smiley Happy

It seems like we just changed them!

I'm still not used to the different switch to changing over to Nov./March now.

I didn't even know about the time change until I heard about it on the news this week, and then I forgot all about it again, until I saw your reminder.

Re: Don't Forget to Set Clocks FORWARD One Hour Tonight

I've already started the process.  I did the clock in my basement since I won't be down there again until tomorrow and I did all of my watches just now.  Except for the one that I didn't change back in November.  I wore it last week and realized it was an hour off so I just left it ;o)

Most of my things change automatically now.  I call my self at home from my cell to change the phones.

[ Edited ]

Hardly have anything to change these days. I no longer wear a watch - just check my phone.  No longer use a DVR. LOL my bedroom clock never got changed last time, so tomorrow it'll finally be correct. I think I just need to change my car clock.

I had two different clocks in the past that "always" had the correct time via satellite or whatever else they use, and neither one of them (different mfg) ever worked; they both got trashed as useless.

Re: Don't Forget to Set Clocks FORWARD One Hour Tonight

I just changed all the clocks that don't reset themselves.  One of mine (in the garage) was never changed last time, so I'm glad it will be accurate again!

I'm planning to have dinner 30 minutes early tonight and to try to get to sleep 30 minutes early, too.   Maybe in a few days, I'll have adjusted

Re: Don't Forget to Set Clocks FORWARD One Hour Tonight

@Moonchilde, when we have a time change, I walk around dazed and confused for a couple of weeks after the change! It has nothing to do with clocks.

I have always been sensitive to the length of the day and the position of the sun.  I am so connected to the movement of stars and constellations as seasons change.

I LOVE the long days: even though we live in The Sunshine State, I do get a touch of seasonal affective disorder during the winter....so, if I seem to be crazier than usual, you will know why!

This is going to be a crazy week weather wise for the entire East Coast: it looks as if you who live in the NE are going to be dealing with a nasty n'oreaster dumping snow.....high winds are going to be part of the story.....of all things, North Florida is going to be under freeze warnings!!!! That is crazy this time of year!  This is when all the college kids flock down here for Spring Break.  Florida Tourism is going to scream for mercy!

Don't laugh, but it's even getting "cold" down here in SW Florida. We will have low 70's by f

Day and low 40's and upper 30's at night.  I know you folks from the NE and places like Michigan are laughing at what I consider cold, but some nice hot soup is going to be on my menu this week!
