Tupperware products were very good, still have a few bowls. They were made in USA.

The only ones I remember were Tupperware, Stanley products and more recently Pampered Chef.  My aunts were really into these parties at one time.  I did attend Pampered Chef when I was working, I still have my pizza stone!    I don't recall Home Interior parties.........thankfully as I have enough decor already!

I used to be a Home Interior and Gifts rep.  For a very short time.  We didn't have parties, that was Tupperware 😜.  We have shows!  I'm laughing

@goldensrbest  OMG--Tupperware, Longerberger baskets, Home Interiors, Christmas around the world, Jewelry parties, Clothing parties, Watkins, there was one for soups and dip mixes that I can't remember the name of, Pampered Chef was big. That's about all I can recall.

I definitely remember Home Interiors.  I went to a few parties back in the day and bought a few things but I no longer have them.  They had the best smelling candles but they weren't very big.  I have a co-worker who was a Home Interiors consultant up until they were bought out.

I think in-home parties are mostly a thing of the past as I believe most parties are done online.

@SaveTheTurtles  Christmas Around The World - that was the one. I couldn't remember the name. 🎄

I also remember making jewelry parties. I still have some earrings. I forgot about that one too.

I was invited to a few and never went. Had no interest in that stuff.

Oh gosh when we first moved into the neighborhood almost 32 years ago and it was new I was invited to so many of those parties.

Home Decorators, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Princess House, jewelry (I don't recall the name of that one), etc.  At first I went to almost everyone but after a few years of that nonsense I stopped.

Of course you were expected to buy something that was usually overpriced even if you were told you didn't have to.

Thank goodness they are no longer popular!

I went to one and decided I would never attend another.  First of all they sold junk.  Secondly, the person selling the junk was supposedly a "decorator" but most likely deemed a decorator by the actual junk company.

Awful stuff, and of course I was stuck buying something.

Funny how things come around again.  You will find many Home Interior items being sold on market places, some with nice price tags.  I always loved our window pane picture that hung on the wall behind our kitchen table.  It was maybe nine panes and each one was a different seasonal picture. You can find that going for about 200 dollars, oh well, Moms was given to the thrift store many moons ago.
