Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

Should they just completely go away?? News coverage has really go away replaced by some mess called "The Daily Share" No news coverage after 12noon est CNN Spends all day on one subject, I just missed the old days not to mention all the people that have been let go, but they keep Robin Meade? Not that she's that bad but its just not the same

BTW I though he Jodi Arias trial should be have been over by now.... Just saying

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

I never really did. Is this the channel that used to be CourtTV?

Anyway, as for HLN on its own, about the only time I tune in is when I'm laying around maybe not feeling well or something and I want to watch something easy so I'll tune in to the Forensic Files marathons. But I think I may have pretty much seen them all at this point, so I don't go out of my way to look for it.

I don't watch any of their 'news' or whatever shows, though.

HLN used to be a good station. They did just what the name implies...ran headlines (or abbreviated stories) of current news items. I would sometimes leave the station on while doing other things just to keep up with what was going on. That was at least 10 years ago. Never watch it now.

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

DH likes to watch the forensic shows. That's about all we watch on that channel these days. No way am I getting up at the crack of dawn to watch Robin Meade, I don't care how many times they show her commercial. Smiley Happy

We saw that channel a lot when the Casey Anthony trial was going on. We watched both Jane Velez Mitchell and Nancy Grace then, and every night Nancy started out with "Bombshell tonight!!!" That always made me chuckle. LOL, I think she still does that too, but I just never got back into watching her after the Anthony trial.

I cannot even stand to "look" at Jodi Arias so I haven't watched any of her trial. I just read about her instead when there is something new.

Is HLN the station that had Robin Meade on in the morning? I used to flip between HLN, CNN and Fox every morning while I got ready.

Now I just watch GMA.

I read that they are trying to change it but know that it will be almost impossible to make it good. How stupid is that?

I know. Right?! I think they are trying to gear it more towards younger people. They got rid of Court TV too. Why ruin good things? Leave it to the networks to screw things up.
