I read that they are trying to change it but know that it will be almost impossible to make it good. How stupid is that?

It used to be good, I wonder why they changed it,.....if it ain't broke, don't fix it,lol.

I know. Right?! I think they are trying to gear it more towards younger people. They got rid of Court TV too. Why ruin good things? Leave it to the networks to screw things up.

I wonder what happened to Vinny, Jane velez Mitchell, and the others......I think Joey Jackson is still there..

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

Sometimes when I'm channel surfing I see a lot of the lawyers like Joey, Vinnie etc on different stations giving commentary on different legal situations/cases. I heard Jane was fired but I haven't heard anything else about her. I know she wrote all those books or at least several so maybe she has a little money to live on though I'm sure she's going for another job.

NO ........... except when Forensic Files is on, and most of them I have seen a hundred times, very rare do I see one I haven't seen!

I use to be a big fan of Nancy Grace, Dr. Drew, Jane Valez Mitchell, and the lawyers that use to be on there, that all has changed, I think they should become the Forensic Files TV, LOL!

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

Re: Vinnie - I believe his last name is Politan or Politano. I haven't seen him since CourtTV, so I'm not sure which.

Re: Forensic Files - I know, right? It's the Foresnsic Files Channel. Smiley Happy Often, I'm cruising through the Tivo guide and almost always I see a block of many MANY hours of Forensic Files episodes.

I think they dropped that one for the new one on ID, called 'Cause of Death'. It's also narrated by the same guy who, BTW, is like 90 years old! Who'd ever guess that from his strong, distinctive voice? (NOT making a dig at 90 year olds! His voice just sounds much much younger to me)

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

Jan - No, 'Cause of Death' is on the ID channel. They are also 30 minute episodes, narrated by Peter Thomas. The format - really, everything - is exactly like Forensic Files.

The weird thing was that they were aired in 4 to 6 episode lumps and now I think it's on hiatus already, but some reruns of those eps might come up in the near future.

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

I used to watch Headline News when it was news every 30 minutes with Chuck Roberts or Bobbie Battista. It was nice to have the news even at night while traveling. I stopped watching it when it became a junk news channel. It could go away for all I care.

Re: Does Anyone Still Watch HLN?

I use to enjoy CNN till they became the ""one note"" station.....also liked HLN till they took away all the good shows and put on Forensic Files...I think I have seen all of them at least twice...

Never cared for Nancy Grace...if you don't agree with her...she shouts at you and cuts you off...I never understand how anyone comes to her show...so I don't tune her in...

Dr Drew isn't bad...but hard to listen to when everyone on the panel is shouting...

Now I don't watch any of them....
