The seasonal rush to the store when there's  a chance of snow.

Yep - that's what they call a French Toast storm warning - eggs, bread, and milk are the first to be cleaned out.

I am in Northeast Ohio.  The forcast has to have 6+ inches of snow for that to happen here.  But, if there is freezing rain coming, watch out sister!  It is a free-for-all!  People will elbow their granny for the last loaf of bread.

Absolutely happens in SC and it's when sighting a snowflake is a potential!  We usually just stay home and avoid all that.

He has taken it too far. When a storm is coming, I'll grab milk, bread, cereal, and maybe a few cans of soup. That would hold us through a storm.

I knew we were going to get snow several days ago so I went before the big rush and stocked up.

I have been to the store where it gets so crazy that the registers are all being used and the check out lines go to the very back of the store!

I try to avoid that now.

Not me.  I am always prepared.  I really could survive for months without going to the store.

I'd run out of fresh produce and eggs, but other than that I have everything we need.

Got caught once with one can of tomato soup.  Blizzard way back before all the hi-tech

weather forecasting.

in Michigan that happens even though ppl are used to the winters there. Go figure. In Florida as soon as we are in the cone for a hurricane, it's every man for himself at the grocery stores 🤪
