Didn’t buy a college one and have not seen the high school one in years.  Now I am trying to think what happened to it.

No, our house burned down the year after I graduated and it was in the fire. We were gone to Florida for Christmas to visit family. If I remember right it was around 170.00 but not sure. White gold with emerald colored stone. My husband still has his in a drawer somewhere.

It was Important then for me to have one and I think I was working part time so I was able to buy one. Money was tight otherwise. I really enjoyed school and have many fond memories. That's the best part.

Our high school and college rings were gold and my husbands size 12 college ring was massive . I sold them years ago when gold was at it's highest.

Mine is solid gold with an amethyst for our school colors and it still fits

Yes.  It is 10K gold with mother-of-pearl.  I don't wear it!

 

I have my pin from my school of nursing.  I would NEVER give that up.  I worked so hard for it!

I have my class ring - 1972.  I think I paid $25 for it back then.  All gold and gem.
