Court Appearance of Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman

I found this interesting, so I thought if you hadn't already read it, you might too.

Lori was filming in Canada and knew she was coming back to turn herself in. So she had time to dress, do the right makeup, etc.

Felicity and her husband were awakened by seven FBI agents with guns! They gave her a few minutes to get ready and took her right to court, so she did not have time to do her makeup and hair.

I'm surprised they sent FBI agents - seven? I really don't think that was necessary. And why couldn't they wait until later in the morning? I guess when you think of this couple you think of them as regular people who were both popular actors (William H. Macy has not been charged.) Why would they need seven? Of course, I don't know how these things work, and I really don't want to know.

In court the sketch artist said Lori looked defiant and sat with her arms crossed the whole time. Her husband Mossimo Giannulli also appeared in court. Felicity looked afraid and ashamed. The artist sat next to Felicity's husband William H. Macy, who she said was very nice to her. They said hello and she started sketching. He realized why she was there. She sketched him too. He told her she was very good when he saw the sketches and thanked her. She told him she wished it was in a different situation and wished him the best. He put his hand on her shoulder and told her to have a good day. The artist said of the two women Felicity was "more authentic and genuine."

@beach-mom  Thanks for the drawings.  Lori does look defiant, and Felicity~scared.

They're both sickening.

They’re sorry because they got caught. If they hadn’t got caught wouldn’t give a C***

@beach-momI'm not surprised that it's a function of the FBI to deal with those being charged with serious financial crimes.  As to the numbers, I don't know why but I had read hundreds of FBI agents across the nation were involved.

I don't really care that she had no time to dress to impress.  That's sort of the same attitude that I feel got her into trouble to begin with.

Lori's daughters have dropped out of USC.  They do not want to go back to school for obvious reasons.  This according to TMZ.

This is a sad situation all the way around.  My concern is for the kids.  They are going to need professional help.

The parents?  No so much.  They knew what they were doing.

@Mary Bailey -

I thought of that too. I hope not.

The sketches  are very unflattering...well except for Felicity’s husband, Will Macey or something like that, he actually looks better.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@NicksmomESQ  I hope they are given 'time' and not just a fine...which for the rich isn't even a slap on the wrist.
