I have mine packed away.  But would like to know the value of it.  I bought it in my sophomore year. 1977. I think it was around $32 dollars.  Solid gold. Have you kept yours?

I have my1968 high school ring somewhere. No solid gold. Doubt it is worth much.

Our house was burglarized and my jewelry box taken.  However, dh found my HS class ring in the front yard where they'd dropped it.  I never had a college class ring.  By then I'd figured out nobody wears them out in the real world.

I remember selling my fairly large 10k gold H.S. ring for $23.00 toward my college ring, which I still have. I knew I would never wear both. I purchased both rings myself. Can't remember the metal or price of my college ring.

I offered to buy both DSs rings for HS and college. They had no interest in rings. DS #1 wears a wedding band, #2 wears a watch. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw anyone wearing a school ring.

Yes, I still have mine..class of 1972.  Got it in my junior year the  last day of school year and showed it to my boyfriend, now my husband. He wanted to wear it, so I gave it to him.  He wore it on his pinky until it got too tight and returned it back to me. It is very thick, heavy and uncomfortable. i never have worn it.

Mine is 14k and I think it cost almost $100.  There's a lot of gold on it.

We were the first of "Dinner Rings".  I have that one and the one from college which only had the school engraved.  (We mature eventually, thank goodness!!!).
