Re: Do you save magazines or toss them after youn read them?

I read everything except the Sunday NY Times digitally. If I want to save an article, I either bookmark it or print it to a PDF file.

Re: Do you save magazines or toss them after youn read them?

I occasionally hang on to a "special" issue, but mostly I pass them on to friends or family members who will enjoy them.

I really subscribe to more magazines than I have time to read, but somehow I've gotten onto a "discount subscription" list, and I receive off-price offers that it's hard to refuse. I'm getting several really nice women's/decorating/fashion mags for under $10/year. I do enjoy flipping through them at leisure and sharing them with others.

Re: Do you save magazines or toss them after youn read them?

i get so many mag's a month that i end up with a stack of at least 2 dozen!

i keep all my decor mag's - like HGTV,elle decor, etc - and my southern living. i get a couple of decor mag's from canada also. the fashion magazines (vogue, harper's,elle, etc.) and my BHG,Family Circle, etc i go through a couple of times to see what i want to keep like recipes and decor/DIY info then i either recycle them or take them to my dentist office for them to use in the reception room.

of all the mag's i get each month i have only paid for two - HGTV and Southern Living. the rest i get free.

I read then put in the recycle....no point in saving...once I have read it...I know I am not going to go back to it....too much clutter....

The only magazine we still get is Sports illustrated. My husband takes it to his office after he reads it.

Newspapers get re-cycled.

I don't have a subscription to any magazines. When times got tough I eliminated buying them.

That's how I feel about decorating magazines. I still have many Colonial Homes and Country Living magazines from the seventies! They used to spotlight a different part of the country back then in each issue or a different historical museum towns (like Williamsburg or Deerfield). Although my taste has evolved, there are certain classic looks I love to revisit and I often see something I missed years ago that works in my current home.

Give them to a senior center. The ladies love to read them and they are enjoyed by many. I'd never throw them away as there are many senior living centers who would love to have them.
