It feels a little crazy to suggest this, but I am noticing a strange pattern of "junk" phone calls.
I am getting multiple ones on the same day. Some days or even a couple of days, I get NONE.
Then other days, like today, I must have gotten a cluster of 10 calls.
They range from "toll free calls" to naming a state (Nevada call), to having a specific company name, to vague names (like member services), etc.
Does anyone else have this pattern, and anyone know WHY?

My phone provider was not part of that site. Yes, hyacinth, I do get three or four calls clustered in a short amount of time. Frustrating.

Yes, my calls come in spurts like you mention. Seems like around 9 to 10 am and then around dinner time. I just don't answer the phone at all now.

We used to get them around dinner time every evening.

I swear I'd like to reach through the phone and stuff a sock down their throats. There's no opt-out choice either. I despise these dam tele marketer calls. And yes, I am on the do not call registry which isn't worth c r a p. I repeat, I despise these people!
Hi, Tyak! These robo-calls have nothing to do with the "Do Not Call Registry." They use an automated system which scrolls numerically through random phone numbers, hoping someone will pick up, definitely hoping someone will talk or press a button so they know they've found a "live" phone number. Best thing is not to answer at all, and check out Nomorobo to see if it's available for you.

tansy, If you check the site, they provide a number to call to ask your provider to offer the service.
To the topic of the thread, I never noticed any particular timing. They're all criminals, in my opinion, and they have some pretty sneaky methods up their sleeves.

Awesome! I just signed up. Thanks for the tip. I hope it reduces the random calls that I get everyday from unavailable callers.
