@deepwaterdotter I was looking at Epson's eco tank printers. The bottled ink lasts 2 yrs! Sold out at BestBuy. Will have one of my children check out Epson EcoTanks on Amazon for me. Kim Kommando also gives away and/or provides EcoTanks discount codes on her radio show as well as on her website from time to time.
I have owned Epson printers since 1999 & I am on my 2nd one. Still works but getting long in the tooth. Want to use my current Epson (XP 400) one as a backup to the Epson Eco tank.

I have a HP Envy 7640 from 2015. It is a wireless All in one printer. I also own a HP 1100 laser printer from 2003.It runs with mWindows 8.1 computer. I never tried it with Windows 10.
Please pass on HP instant ink. It is bad news. Do not accept free months.
I buy HP printers, because I can keep them running.

HP all in one printer. The ink is more expensive than the printer!

HP Photosmart 6525 wireless. I can get ink refills at Sam's Club that are compatible for less $ and have never had a problem with them.

I have this one as well. It is ridiculously cheap on HSN all the time.
It's perfect for my needs of printing once or twice a month.
It also allows me to copy. Every once in a while I need to make a copy of something when I'm not at work.
I haven't been able to get the fax to ever work, but I rarely need to fax anything that I can't fax from work.

I have always bought HP for my company. A couple of years ago, my IT person ordered a very fancy Dell printer for my use with my new Dell computer; that printer lasted about three or so years. HPs seem to last forever.

I had HP inkjet printers until five or six years ago when I switched to a Brother (Black & White) Laser printer and I've never looked back. The Brother was on sale at Staples, and it cost less that one HP cartridge! And it came with a starter toner cartridge that lasted over a year! The Brother laser printer is a much better value than HP inkjet if you do a fair amount of printing, as I do.

Terrywu, and other Epson fans, I, too, have had an Epson all-in-one for about 7 years. Every once in awhile the bluetooth goes out and I have to reconnect, but other than that I just cannot justify replacing it with a new one, any brand. It prints double-sided, and fast, and color printing is very good for the age of the printer.
I had HP all-in-ones before. They were fine, but those name-brand cartridges are a deal-killer for me. The Epson cartridges can be obtained very inexpensively on Amazon. And, unlike the HP printers, the Epson printers will accept clones.

My son in law was just here to set mine back up with my laptop.
He keeps doing it and somehow I keep flubing the @#$ up! Ha!
The one I now have is a HP. It does everything except send pictures from the moon. I only want the thing to print from my computer. Ha!
So for awhile it will...til it downloads again...Ha!
I don't like HP because they want you to send them something so they know when the computer is out of ink and then they'll MAGICALLY send you more ink (for a stupid cost).
My son in law likes Cannon. I've had Cannon and HP and I think they're all just as good.
He said the picture printed (he showed me) was amazing. So I don't think it matters what it is.
If I was you and unless your getting stuff you have to fax I'd get the one(s) for 50$ or whatever.
Just read carefully what they do. Some only xerox (copy) and don't go from computer to the printer. So be careful what you buy.
As far as what you buy, I think most are the same....
Maybe I'm not a good judge, but believe me they all look good.
