I have a super old HP laser printer.  It is not wireless, just black & white.  I don't print much so it is good enough for me.

I have a Brother HL-L2380DW.  It was under $100 and it's a laser because I didn't want to have to continuously shell out more $$ for ink cartridges and I have no need for color.  It's several years old.  It also scans and copies and it's wifi.

I only use HP all in one printers. I buy them in Costco for under $100. The one I'm using now is about 5 years old.
Their very convenient.I couldn't live without one.

We get HPs.  Used that brand at work, very reliable.  Our old home printer had for many years.  I really liked it. Replaced it earlier this year with an HP Envy Photo 7855, not expensive.  I don't like it as much as the old one, probably because I am not familiar it.

We tried to print out our Christmas card labels yesterday. They came out blurry (not smeared)  Never had that issue with our old HP.  Pretty sure it is not the labels, rather the fancy, dancy adjustments required with the new printer.

Still would get HP.  Just mentioned this issue because sometimes there may be learning period depending upon the model purchased.

I have an old laser printer, an inkjet three-in-one.  I've been wanting a new color printer and have just ordered the Epson EcoTank, which uses small tanks for the ink, rather than the cartridges.  I'm anxious to receive it.  I'm tired of dealing with the cartridge systems, which require expensive repacement cartridges. Hope this works out as good as the reviews seem to indicate.

We've always bought HP.  Currently have an HP Officejet Pro 8600, which is probably 5 or more years old.  It's an all in one - copier, printer, fax, etc.  Contrary to what someone said upthread, you don't have to buy the printer cartridges from HP.  We get ours at Office Depot.  Also, it will work with generic cartridges; we've just always stuck with HP cartridges.

I own an HP all in one, that's the only brand & type of printer I've ever purchased (the all in one)  I've never had problems with them, I've used each one I've had for several years, I use them until they "die."

@qualitygal   I have an HP  laserjet  Printer given to me about  8 years ago.  All it does is print....nothing else.

Just use Black and white ink....I buy the  replacement ink cartridges online for about $20 each They are knock off cartridges, but work great and save me about $60 over buying the HP brand ink cartridges that usually cost $80 plus.
