For those who like brown diamonds, enjoy!
Both the brown and the black diamonds don't attract me as they need certain light for the sparkle to be seen.
I do like the champagne diamonds. I have the traditional white.

Levian has made a fortune talking women into their colored diamond line. I do have some irradiated blue diamond earrings and pendant. They are eye clean of inclusions and very sparkly electric blue. I would buy more in the future if I could get them at a good price.

I've always read that clear is the most common, they are not rare. De Beers has a market on them and withholds them, which is the only reason they're expensive.
@Noel7 While white diamonds are the most popular and commonly used in jewelry, (yellow-to-)brown diamonds are the most abundant found in nature. Before the marketing ploy to sell them to the masses began, brown diamonds were considered industrial use quality.
DeBeers' near-monopoly on white diamonds ended around 2000 and they no longer control the diamond industry.

Some mocha diamonds can be very pretty and very sparkly and some are ugly. Just like any other colors of diamonds. There are good quality and poor quality.

A testament to how incredibly common diamonds are. We will never run out of diamonds.
A planet made up of solid diamond has been detected.

I can see it now, De Beers will be the first to land there and plant a De Beers family flag of ownership.

My friend who passed away in her early 60's a year ago from Dementia had the most gorgeous brown diamonds put into her own designed wedding ring.
She and her DH must have had the ring made in the 80's. It was free form yellow gold and had one large (I'd say 2ct) brown diamond surrounded by 4 or 5 smaller brown diamonds.
I was mesmerized by the diamonds in her ring! They were very soft, very light and had brillance to them. The brown diamonds I've seen since her ring have never measured up to the quality and beauty she had in her ring. If I found a brown diamond as beautiful as the ones (and they all matched) she had mounted in her design, I'd jump on it if I could.....

The only colored diamonds I like are the very expensive yellow diamonds. I have a friend who has black diamond earrings, and I don't like them at all. I've never seen brown diamonds in person, but I don't like the pictures I've seen of them. To me they look like poor quality diamonds.

Wouldn't really care for a brown diamond....but i would really like to have a black diamond in a beautiful setting...

No, I don't care for them at all. These are the most common diamonds and most are used for industrial uses. They have just tried to market them so they are more appealing but to me, they still aren't.
