I just can't warm up to the whole idea of brown diamonds in jewelry. For years and years they were used only in industry , then they got into marketing them as jewelry and now I think they are somewhat popular esp. among younger ladies. I like other colors in diamonds especially yellow and blue, but just can't get on the brown diamond bandwagon. My Neighbor (a widow) was over to show me her Levian brown diamond ring her kids bought her for Christmas. Very nice of them and she is thrilled but I had to really pretend to love it as I looked at it and thought it wasn't very attractive.

I don't own any....but I do have blue and yellow (along of course white)...but I could/would do some black/brown ones if it was a setting I liked.

The setting of these stones was very pretty and is rose gold which I do love. I've never seen a real black diamond but imagine they would look just like a black spinel.

I've never seen any in person, and I don't think what is shown on tv does justice to much jewelry

I'm sure there are some very beautiful brown diamonds but in general, I am not attracted to any kind of brown stone, diamond or not.

I'm not a fan. I've seen diamonds that were of very poor quality and they were always pretty brown-looking, or very yellowish. When I see the brown diamonds that are sold I just think of really poor quality that were probably additionally processed to make them even more brown.
For me, diamonds need to be white. ![]()

Not a fan of colored diamonds, but I wouldn't mind owning yellow or blue "untreated" diamonds😁

I really don't like any of the colored diamonds. They just don't have the fire that the clear ones have, plus there are natural colored tones one can get instead, like rubies, sapphires, emeralds, etc.

@151949 - no I am not a brown diamond fan. If I want brown, I'll do smoky quartz or ginger quartz...I have a couple really nice pieces...... I prefer white diamonds and champagne diamonds!
