I think they're very pretty set in rose gold.

I've only seen them on TV but no I don't care for the look.

That sounds like a beautiful combo with the rose gold.

I don't think I've ever seen one in person. I thought they were primarily utilized in industrial applications. But I do like my smoky quartz Ripka earrings.

I haven't seen one in person, but like what I see in magazines.

Why are colored diamonds so...putrid? Awful looking. The non-intense ones dump the browns on the bottom as the cheapest. The market is flooded with them. So many of them resemble dead diamonds. The only decent ones like yellow are costly. The vivid color grade ones are better, but you pay for an arm & leg. Despite the cost of the better colors, white diamonds reign supremely. Anybody in their right mind would want a colorless solitaire stone over a brown one. Despite this I'd rather have ruby over a red diamond, yellow sapphire over a yellow diamond, etc.

Like most of you I'm not crazy about the brown stones, however I saw an ad in a magazine recently showing a ring with a red stone, maybe garnet, surrounded by the brown stones, and it was pretty, maybe it needs a contrast.

I've never met a "rock" I didn't like!

For years and years they were used only in industry , then they got into marketing them as jewelry and now I think they are somewhat popular esp. among younger ladies. I like other colors in diamonds especially yellow and blue, but just can't get on the brown diamond bandwagon. My Neighbor (a widow) was over to show me her Levian brown diamond ring her kids bought her for Christmas. Very nice of them and she is thrilled but I had to really pretend to love it as I looked at it and thought it wasn't very attractive.
