Only one. I was about 9 years old. On a family vacation and visiting the Winchester House in San Jose California. It is supposed to be haunted with spirits. We were standing in line waiting to go through a portion of the house. I stepped-away from my Mom... and went over to a large old closed door...peaked through the key hole.... and it started to slowly open.... it freaked me out...ran back to my Mom and was scared the entire time we were there.
It stayed in my mind all these many years....I knew that it was something unearthly when it happened. Just something odd and freaky.

I have one I read about and saw the video on youtube. The Little Flower is the patron Saint of the Philippines. She was a French nun who died very young. As she lay dying she said I will spend my heaven doing good. There are photographs of her so people know what she looked like.
When her relics came to the Philippines, they let all of the children have the day off off school ,and they filled the sides of the road to honor the relics. the armed service escorted her relics to the cathedral and jets flew over the procession. The firemen an the police were also among those that were showing her respect
This is why. During WW2 Philippine soldiers, kept speaking of a French nun ,that came to them out on the battlefields ,to minister to the wounded ,and dying. They described what she looked like. Finally someone saw a picture, or was shown a photo of her. To a man they all said this is that nun.
You might still be able to see the procession on youtube I am not sure. It has been some years ago ,that I discovered this

I agree with you - things that happened or didn't happen in my life, gave me proof positive that Angels are among us.

I have always been able to sense and even see human spirits, even when I was a child. Normally, they don't bother me, but I am not comfortable with them around.
I have a ton of stories, but I will tell you about the most recent one this summer. I was home alone watching TV late at night, when my dogs began barking and growling at something in the foyer of our home. I check a few times and couldn't see anything that would be upsetting them. They just kept barking and driving me crazy.
Finally, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the figure of a very tall and quite large man. I have never talked to spirits before, but this time I did. I told him out loud to leave and that he wasn't welcome here. I was upset and quite harsh with him. Finally, my dogs settled down and I didn't see him again.
The next day we left for a week. When we leave the house for an extended period of time, my DH locks and bolts our bedroom door..in case some breaks in.
When we returned, my DH carried the luggage upstairs and unbolted the door. Then he yelled for me to come up. When we were gone, our paddle fan light was broken. Metal pieces were bent and some were broken off. One paddle blade was on the floor on the other side of the room. My DH checked the windows and they were all locked. No one could have been in that bedroom. The light fixture was still attached to the ceiling even though metal parts were broken off. It would be impossible for that to happen and my DH was dumbfounded.
Just then I remembered the spirit I chased away the night before we left. I think he came back to get even..I don't know for sure, but there is no other explanation.
I have had spirits move things, but never had any damage done.
My youngest son also sees and hears spirits. I can see, but don't hear them. His are quite loud and have conversations all night while he is trying to sleep. They also drain his cell phone batteries and any other batteries he has in the house. He was pushed once too. His house has some type of activity for months, then it will stop for a while. I tease him that spirits go on vacation too.

I hope this isn't off topic, but wanted to recommend a fiction book series about the paranormal--Karen Robards' Dr. Charlotte Stone series. It is a series of four books starting with The Last Victim. They are hands down the best books I have ever read. For reference, I like suspense books. 👻

I have this link. It is not the one of those that I saw. I saw a highly placed military man in in his office being interviewed about the relics. He the one that narrated the story about the Philippine soldiers
This will give you an idea of how greatly she is loved, and how widely the story is regarded as true
This link give a better view of the relics touring the Southern Philippines. I think the ones I saw were the arrival in Manila, and it is just no longer available ,I guess

I've had three that come to mind.
Keep in mind, that I don't seek these things out. I don't go looking for them. They find me.
The first was in late December of 2000, or early January of 2001.
My mom died in mid-December of the year 2000.
I took some time off of work, and on one of my first days back, (I was working at Sears at the time), a woman came up to my register to pay for her stuff.
She paid by check, and when she handed me the check, I looked at the name on it. The name was "Karen J. Zimmerman" (Not the real name).
Well, "Karen J. Zimmerman" was my mother's name!
I could feel my eyes get wide, my jaw drop, all color drain from my face, and I thought that I was going to faint, as I just stared at the name on the check.
I finally manged to stammer out an apology for my reaction, as I explained to the woman that she just happened to have the same name as my mother who had just recently passed.
I took it to be a sign that my mom had made it to Heaven, and that was her way of letting me know that she was okay and at peace.
I never saw that woman again.
The second paranormal encounter that I had involves my grandfather.
In 2004 or so, I decided to go to Salt Lake City to visit the Family History Library to do geological research on the my dad's side of the family.
This was just before I had a computer, or just shortly after I had one.
Anyway, it was the morning that I was to leave for SLC, and I work up early feeling anxious.
I went to find where I had hidden my passport, which was in the big outside pocket of my giant suitcase.
I don't know why I wanted to find it, I wasn't going to be using it, but I did want to make sure that it was where I had left it.
Now, I was the only person who used this giant suitcase.
My dad, when he would travel, like most guys, took as little as possible, so he never used this giant suitcase.
When I reached in to the outer pocket of this particular suitcase, my hand felt something hard, and metallic.
Confused, I pulled it out, and it was a medal given to my dad's dad at a VFW meeting, that had his name on it.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I got a spooky feeling, and I looked up to the ceiling and said, "Hi, Grandpa! How are you?"
Third and final one was one morning I was getting dressed for work, and I was sitting on the side of the bed, about ready to put my pants on.
My dresser was next to the bed, and on it was a flashlight, where you had to push a button at the bottom of it to turn it on and off.
Nothing was touching this flashlight, when it just came on all by itself.
I stared at it for a moment, when I remembered that sometimes ghosts/spirits like to communicate by turning lights on and off.
I decided to test/try this theory out, so I said out loud, "Can you turn the flashlight off, please?"
Hand to G-d, I swear, less than ten seconds later, the flashlight went off all by itself.
I responded by saying, "Thank-you! Good morning, ghostie! How are you today?"
I had always sensed that there was an unseen presence in my apartment with me.
It didn't bother me, scare me, or freak me out, or anything.
Here, where I live now, nothing.
Nothing paranormal has happened.
So those are my stories of the paranormal.

I have also had one visit a couple of times farting. I told it to leave if that's all they wanted to do. LOL!!! It only happened twice.
If my ex dies first, that's how he will haunt me. 😱
