My recommendation is to have your alternator checked, as your car has a mechanical reason for draining a 3 year old battery.

Several years ago, the battery in my car died - my car was in my garage and AAA installed a new battery. You also get credit for the battery u have if it doesn't last as long as the warranty. You don't have to return the battery to where u bought it -- whoever is installing a new battery gives u credit on the new battery.

Over a year ago, I was at the Honda dealer and the battery was very low because I don't drive very much anymore. The cost was a lot more - but if the battery dies within 5 years, I get a free battery.

If you live in an area where extreme heat and triple -digit temps hit during the summer each hear, it drains batteries. Sometimes your car will not indicate the battery is about to die. Having a car battery die does not mean you are negligent.

My update is that I got AAA. I have it renew on my credit card so I get the extra service call.

AAA was out of the car battery mine needed at the time I called them.

I had to get my battery jumped the day before I took it to the auto repair shop. Next day I got it there and got a new battery and a few other things done that was needed.

I will not ever buy a car battery from Walmart. Its been nothing but trouble from the start. Plus they checked it and said it was fine, but it wasnt fine. Never was. I know another person that had the same issues I had and they got theirs there too.

So happy to have a dependable battery now and havent had any issues with it starting.

I have AAA over 40 years. My husband has used it for discounts on travel ( car rentals etc...) we have never used it yet for a car mishap....it is just "insurance " for if we ever need a tow or whatever,

I had AAA for many years with no claims but in last ten years probably 15 claims for batteries and nails in tires ( three cars, all well maintained). We are believers!

I guess my experience with them is differernt. Long story short I had to get my son to BWI airport for an early morning flight about 10 years ago. I got a flat on the highway while headed there. My son jumped out and was ready to change it but my jeep did not have the key to unlock the spare from the back of the door. (Jeep Liberty). Long story short I had to pay for a cab for my daughter to take with my son to ensure he got there. I gave her my cash and a cc. I sat waiting 2 hours for a tow, they towed me 60 miles out of the way, it was another 3 hours for them to change the tire, then when I asked for directions they had NO CLUE how to get me back on the highway to the airport! Not lying here. I finally called a friend who was able to direct me through the city traffic (which was brutal) and back on the highway. My daughter was ready to kill me since she just had on her pajama bottoms and a sweatshirt since we were just going to drop him off and go home. I cancelled AAA when I got home. Never ever again. My car insurance gives me 3 free tows a year. I've never used all three in a year. Last time i needed a battery, my mechanic came to the house free and swapped it out for just the cost of the battery (we are only 10 minutes away). I'm good. I could not believe not one of them had a clue as to where they were or where the highway was. They tried looking it up on the computer and still really wasn't sure. I just shook my head paid for the tire, went out to the parking lot, called my friend and she talked me through where I was and how to get back to the highway and to BWI airport. FYI I am not good with directions and could not get the map app on my phone to work right. I didn't have enough bars or service at the time. After that my daughter refused to go to any airport with me again lol.

YES I DO In fact just had them come to my house to change out a flat tire for me, put the spare on and then load the damaged tire in my car!!!!! All in 1 hour of me calling them. Absolute BEST $129 i spend every year. Been with them for almost 10 years and have used them alot.

My husband doesn't. He always leases new cars. Everything is covered. Once he got his car stuck in the mud (in the grass) He called and they they came and got him, free of charge.
