Re: Do You Remember. . .

[ Edited ]

I remember all of them -- makes me officially old, I guess. The green glass brought back a special memory. My bff, now deceased, gave me this glass for my birthday, to be used as my unique "bathroom glass." At the time we both thought it was very elegant and that it worked perfectly with my bathroom color scheme. Today I wonder ... what were we thinking?! (I now use a sleek simple white ceramic glass as "my bathroom glass.") I also remember that neither of us was making much money back then, and we both regarded  this glass as a pretty pricey and high end special gift at that time when we were just entering the working world. When I look back, I have to think that both my taste and my income are much improved over the years.

I have that exact crock pot. Still use it. Lol. Was in my MIL. Items when she passed. It was late 70's early 80's. Makes just enough for us.

Remember them?  I still own some of them.  Haha!

I still have a complete set of the blue on white corning ware with lids.  Got it as a wedding shower gift in 1969.

I still have the copper bottom pan set.  It was my mom's from the 1960's, and I inherited it, lids and all.

That wooden salad bowl, the electric fry pan (mine is red, tho),.... Thanks for the pix!  Love them.
