@Desertdi - my jammies are a tank top and lounge pants. In an emergency, I grab a hoodie.
@San Antonio Gal What do you wear after showering and before getting ready and dressed?

I take the clothes I'm going to wear with me to the shower and hang them on the bathroom door. I change into them as soon as I dry off, apply lotion, etc. I'm retired and wear yoga pants and T-shirts most of the time. I wear a relaxed fit yoga pant so they're not tight and look like regular pants. They're comfortable and can take me most anywhere.
I had robes but got rid of them because I rarely used them. Didn’t make sense to me when I could change into my clothes. I don’t feel comfortable staying in pajamas or robes. I like to feel dressed and ready for whatever may come – be it errands, company, walks in the woods, doing exercises in front of the TV, etc. I'm very active so I'm in and out a lot.

I received my Pavilia robes (have one on now) and they are warm and comfortable.
Again, thank you for suggesting these.

@cotton4me I also don't like being in pajamas all day, I like to get dressed unless I'm sick. I took care of my elderly mother (she has passed), there were days she didn't want to get dressed and just stay in her nightgown. I made her get dressed every day, I feel not dressing can led to feeling depressed, I felt like someone who stays in their pajamas everyday all day is someone one that has given up on living.

Hi @Desertdi . Thanks for asking. I wear a towel-wrap when I get out of the shower and when getting ready. When I get out of the shower, I get too hot to wear a robe. A towel-wrap is very convenient. ![]()

Back in the 80's and 90's I always had at least two robes, one for summer and one for winter. Then all the cover ups that went with different nighttime wear. I wore a robe every morning and evening. Now I only wear one in the winter. Funny, it is the same flannel robe I bought back at Target around 1985. My cousin and I were grown women but decided to have a sleep over at my grandmother's one night like when we were children. I loved her robe and went the next day and got one just like it. That robe is almost 40 years old and soft as can be.

I asked my DD for a specific robe from QVC last winter. It is floor length and has to be tied to stay closed. I love the fabric but it seems to open at the bottom. And I hate the floor length. What I like the best are those Comfy put over the head thingies.

Every morning and every night my Mom had one of these type things on when I was growing up. She had both styles but preferred the fuller one with the shorter sleeves. Honestly, I got sick to death of seeing it.

Nope can't stand them. I much prefer to curl up in a blanket. If I'm cold I will put on a sweatshirt.
