I love working part time.  I worked full time until 2009 and didn't work at all for 18 months.   I'd worked my whole life and missed it.  So, I looked for a PT job and found 3.   I was working 44 hours a week.   Three years ago I quit two of them and now work 2 days two weeks and 3 days two weeks.  

It's perfect.

 

It's a fun job at a school and I like my co-workers and the kids and parents. Every year I tell myself this is the last year but school starts and the next thing I know it's mid May and almost over so I go back the next year.

 

I job share and we trade off days a lot.  No one cares as long as one of us shows up.  The only down side for me is I'm not a morning person and I'd like it even more if I had to be there at 10 instead of 8.   Smiley Wink
