I admit that I am not. It relies on deception to fool the audience, and I don't like to be deceived.
So, do you enjoy magic shows?
@Anonymous032819 LOL
It's just entertainment.
Not sure what the issue is about fooling the audience-it wouldn't be magic then yeah?

A very good magic movie - The Illusionist. An oldie but goodie. The kind of movie you better not blink. Rarely shown on tv.
I also enjoyed The Illusionist, the 2006 movie starring Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, and Paul Giamatti. The entire film is on YouTube; watch for free on your computer or stream to TV. It's very well done, I've recommended it to many.

I met a man on a cruise once and he "stole my watch" as a sort of pick-up-line. It was amazing how I never even noticed. Talk about clever and charming. Turned out to be part of the ship's entertainment on stage the next night. He was a good kisser too <wink>.

I loved watching David Blaine's Street magic specials on tv, especially the ones in foreign countries where no words used

No. I do not care for magicians or their shows. It is all Tom foolery anyway. If you know it is fake, how can it be entertaining?

Most movies, tv shows and fiction books are are all fake also but they are entertaining.
I have seen some close up magic that is amazing and the magicians are highly skilled and put a lot of time in working on their magic! Real magic is not pulling a coin out of someone's ear,sawing a person in half, simple card tricks, pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Those are explanable. It takes a great mind and dedication to put together a show where you can be sitting right by the performer and are in awe of what happens because you can find no explanation for what they just did. It's an exceptional skill!!!

As long as the magic doesn't involve using a bunny or a bird (or any animal), I am ok with magic.
